I'd suggest setting up the device on a table and make sure basic functions before installation.

1st stage:

I suggest you focus on the access control part firstly, ignore the video intercom at 1st stage.

2nd stage:

For Intercom and access system control the same lock, when visitor come, the inside people open lock by intercom. And for legal and enrolled users, use access system by swipe card to open the same entrance lock.
